Dear all TIFF friends,
We sincerely thank you all for your support and cooperation for the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) and the 7th TIFFCOM.
This year we had 178 films from around the world with more than 46,000 audience, and the 23rd edition of TIFF brought the curtain down on October 31 with Tokyo SAKURA Grand Prix “Intimate Grammar” (Israel) directed by Nir Bergman.
Also we are very happy that we could challenge various new approaches this year, such as the first-time Tokyo Daily in collaboration with the Hollywood Reporter, Friendship Award Ceremony for Mr. Kim Dong-ho, and UNIJAPAN Entertainment Forum.
We are already looking forward to next year and the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival, which will be held from October 22 (Sat) to October 30 (Sun), 2011 in Tokyo.
Regarding film entries for 2011, information will be available on the TIFF website in May 2011. Please refer to the 2010 regulations, which remain posted on the TIFF official website at http://www.tiff-jp.net/en/tiff/competition.html
For any queries on film submission, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We wish you a wonderful holiday season and hope to see you soon in 2011.
